Hello Fellow Amateurs….
The amateur show was held over the Memorial Day weekend and a very large number of Exhibitors spent their weekend showing with us in Montgomery and all had a good time. A big “Thank You” to all those Exhibitors and Trainers who made this show a success.
We had a total of 277 entries for Friday and Saturday and 245 on Sunday.
Paid trail practice was coordinated by Christine Jones on Friday, before the show. A silent auction was held on Saturday during the show. The list of items up for auction included a Remington Bronze, Tellurion wine, Cowboy Magic products, a Slinky, spurs and other riding equipment, various western shirts, and equine-related books. Thank you to all those individuals who participated on this auction. After the show on Saturday night there was a Pizza party and Karaoke, courtesy of Blount Rental Center. Mary Casey, Kelly McCrory, and Carl Vernon were the stars of the night!!!

Last but not least a BIG Thank You to your Amateur Board Members for working tirelessly to make this a great event!!
The Region 9 show will be August 14th Thru August 17th. Alabama will be working the show on Saturday August 16th. Last year we had a huge turnout by Alabama members to help during this event. Please make plans now to participate and help your Association to have a large presence at this show.
